Need a quiet room in a peaceful neighborhood with an easy drive to popular sights/work centers? Shared use of granite kitchen, hardwood living/dining room, deck, and grill. 15 minutes from Old Town Alexandria, close to public transit, National Airport and all D.C. has to offer. Neighborhood pool available during season, free street parking & wifi. No pets. My home is split level. Master suite and other guest room are upstairs. Each with their own bathroom. The kitchen, dining, and a living room are also upstairs and are shared spaces. Our family resides on the lower level living area, but laundry room is accessible here. The deck is off the dining room. In addition to above, access to the neighborhood pool is available during the season. I like to give guests their privacy and respect their wishes. I am available to socialize, but I also have a busy life. You are welcome in my home and I am always available by text if you have any questions. I have been in the DC area for 20 years and am happy to be a resource. It’s nestled along Little Hunting Creek off the Potomac River near George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate. This is a low traffic neighborhood that is an easy commute to DC, Maryland, the Pentagon, National Harbor, and Ft. Belvoir, while also being just 3 miles from the Route 1 corridor with Costco, Walmart, Michaels, Staples, TJMaxx, DSW and a variety of restaurants. Also, it’s about 10-15 minutes to Old Town Alexandria and I-95 just up the George Washington Parkway. This is a family household, so the home will be shared with my family of 3. There may also be another Airbnb guest. The home is large enough that it will not feel crowded. You will have plenty of privacy.
