Cocoricó: Private room “Tucan”, pool A/C parking

Private room for couple or single with private bathroom and breakfast corner. In a spacious and comfortable house, with solar A/C and wifi. You will find some privacy in the backyard reserved for you. Shared swimming pool and parking. The house is located in a quiet residence near Quebrada Ganado (playa Agujas) and Punta Leona (playa Mantas and playa Blanca) in the Jacò area. The access is easy by car and bus. You can easily go to Jacò, famous for surfing and nightlife (20mn by car); to Carara Park and Tarcoles to see the crocodiles (15mn); to Playa Herradura and the marina of Los Suenos (15mn), to Playa Hermosa and its gigantic waves (25mn). At only 1h15 from San José airport, it is ideal to spend your first night in Costa Rica or to make a practical stopover on the road to Manuel Antonio. We are a French couple and we rent rooms in the house we live in. We want to offer a calm and relaxing atmosphere to passing travelers as well as to tenants of long stays. Our house is spacious and comfortable, with solar air conditioning, swimming pool, WIFI and parking. This house is not suitable for families, as there is no protection or equipment for children. The house is divided into 2 parts, each with an entrance gate. Part 1 : In the large courtyard without vis-à-vis, is the swimming pool. The "Tucan" room (1 to 2 people) and the "Lapa" studio (1 to 3 people) side by side, on one side overlook the pool terrace through their French window and on the other side on the back of the house. Part 2 : Two rooms (1 to 2 people) "Colibri" and "Palomita" share the large living room and the kitchen. In the 2nd part is also our accommodation (with our own kitchen and bathroom). The room "Tucan", you will occupy, is spacious and comfortable. With its large French window, it offers a beautiful view onto terrace and swimming pool. A door leads out to the back where you will find some privacy in the backyard reserved for you. There is a very comfortable Queen-size bed, a desk, TV, storage furniture and a brand-new air-conditioning system. There is a breakfast corner with a small fridge, a coffee maker, a mini toaster oven, a microwave and crockery. There is no sink, we advise you to use the sink in the shared kitchen in the main house but, if necessary, you can wash dishes in the bathroom or on the outside sink (in the backyard of your room). The bathroom communicates with the bedroom. There is a shower with hot water, WC and a washbasin. You will find there: towels (bath and swimming pool towels), hand soap, shower gel, shampoo. - Outside, you can enjoy the shared space: the pool and the terrace with deck chairs to relax. - A barbecue is at your disposal. - There is a smoking area in the garden (you cannot smoke inside). - The whole house is connected to the internet with Wifi. - If you have a car, you can park it in the courtyard. - Possibility to use the washing machine and the dryer ($ 5), free if you stay more than 3 days. The house is located in a dead-end street, a very quiet and safe neighborhood. It's a public asphalted road, well lighted. We are located in a rural and residential area between wooded hills and cultivated plains. Many birds can be seen here (especially the emblematic Scarlet Macaw, the red parrot). There is an excellent restaurant at the end of the street. The village of Quebrada Ganado with its shops (restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries...), is only 1 km away. It is an authentic and charming pueblo where you can walk around peacefully For those who love thrills, you can practice different activities in the surroundings: zip line, quad, horse riding, waterfall, sea trip... We are situated about 10mn drive from Playa Agujas and Playa Bochinche, 15mn from Playa Mantas and Playa Blanca, 10mn from Villa Caletas. The bus stop is 200 meters away, you can to go to Jacò, Herradura, Tarcoles, Playa Hermosa or beyond: Puntarenas, Quepos (Manuel Antonio), Orotina, San José. No other guests are allowed No curfew (you will have the keys) No noise after 9 p.m For one month stays cleaning is done once a week Please close the window when you use the air conditioning, turn it off when you go out We have 2 cats, but they are not allowed to enter the rooms!
