Large kitchen with all cooking utensils. OUTDOOR LIVING A secure gazebo at the front of the house is furnished with a queen sized antique brass 4 poster bed and an outdoor heater plus casual seating. Around from secured courtyard, passing a Buddha water feature is a large covered patio with BBQ and charming dining setting. There is a generous outdoor area with a rear garden if you want to bring your best furry friend. Part of the side patio area is sectioned off as an outdoor garden bathroom with an antique claw foot bath, toilet and hand basin. The bath is very deep. The area is secure with access from the singles bedroom. It is just lovely to relax in looking at the trees and hearing the birds chirping and tweeting. A cot for baby available too. FULL ACCESS TO ALL AREAS Guests have full access to all areas of the main house. I have built a granny flat on the west side of the plot for myself which is completely separate from the main house. PRIVACY I will be on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week as I have quarters on the west side of the property completely isolated from the bungalow. However, you won't need to see me ever unless I can help in any way. I will respect your privacy absolutely. The bungalow is your home during your stay. I am a very easy going and tolerant person SAFE AREA Ferndale is a relaxed little suburb nestled on the banks of the Canning River and the Canning Regional Park. Most people are unaware it exists. In the 14 years I have lived here I have not experienced any crime. Zero. It is only 10 km from the CBD, 3 km from Westfield Carousel shopping centre where you will find a restaurant precinct and many other shops along the Albany Highway. The cottage is a very short walk, 500 metres, to Canning Regional Park. The new Fiona Stanley hospital is 15 minutes by car. Carousel shopping centre is 5 minutes away by car. The best beach in Perth at Coogee is 20 minutes drive, a not well known secret. There is a bus stop within walking distance, a train station about 3 km away. A little shopping centre with an IGA supermarket, chemist, fish and chip shop, hairdresser and beautician, and a liquor store is just a short walk across the local oval. PETS The bungalow is suitable for pets. There is a very large oval 2 minutes walk and the lovely Cannington Regional park is 5 minutes walk away. Walk for about 20 minutes to the pet friendly Canning Cafe on the bank of the Canning River. Guests have full access to all areas of the main house and the solar heated pool for summer. Although the pool is through a gate and on my side, blinds screen off the pool from my area and you are most welcome to use the pool. It is gorgeous on a summer night, very warm.
