Earthwalk Ways Retreat LLC is a destination location for private retreat. A full floor includes 2 rooms & a private bath, an infrared Sauna & massage chair, gardens, an outdoor labyrinth, fire circle, and 3000 acres of stream side greenbelt space to wander, fish, bird watch etc. Programs in Forest Bathing, and other self soothing and stress busting techniques are taught. Try out the Zen Zone, a large indoor movement and meditation space set up with various contemplative arts activities. $30 This is a retreat experience and can be included with other things in your visit to this area but it is best to plan to stay for a few days and discover the healing of just being. The small frig allows you to have simple meals here, you can go out for dinner or Darlene can prepare something simple with andvanced notice. You have access to a full landing including massage chair and infra-red sauna, private bath and laundry facilities, small refrigerator microwave and hot plate. Outdoors you have access to the lands by the creek, and the Patio outside of the sauna room. For another few dollars you can enjoy the use of the zen zone and per hour and also enjoy the deck and bird feeder and labyrinth. We are in a rural residential neighborhood, part of the larger DC metro area and near by are both suburbs and the city of Frederikcsburg, which has some great venues and features for history buffs, foodies, and people generally looking to sight see in the area of the early history of our nation. Also possible to fish or canoe on nearby reservoir and on Rappahannock River. Hiking is trail-less along side the creek and river. A beautiful wild natural area in the midst of civilization. 3,000 acres of greenbelt space along the stream and river for people to enjoy. Birding, fishing, hiking, vision quests and other nature solo activities can be arranged. Train, and Bus come into Fredericksburg. Airports in Richmond, Dulles, and National. I can transport from Fredericksburg. New local Airport for those who fly small business jets. For a week long retreat I can include transportation to and from the area airports for an additional fee.
