Welcome to Gwendolyn's Marigold Manor in the heart of Port Deposit, built towards the end of the Victorian Era. Her King's Quarters is located on the front of The Manor. Enter through her double doors off of the beautiful front porch. Located in the center of our quaint little riverfront town., Port Deposit, MD Gwendolyn's Marigold Manor is an historic home, located in the heart of Port Deposit, which sits on the Susquehanna river. The King's Quarters is a private unit with no shared indoor spaces. Step up onto her beautifully detailed front porch and enter through her double front doors. You will be stepping in to your Living room built for a King, with it's own granite gas fireplace, built in's, double moldings, leather furniture, 60" smart TV, Dining area with kitchenette. Mini refrig and freezer, microwave and a single cup Kerig Coffee pot. Walk up the warm detailed wooden staircase to your King Bedroom and Full bath w/washer and Dryer. (Must be able to climb stairs to front porch and indoor stairs for this unit) This unit has a combining door to our Queen Suite that can be unlocked if both are rented creating a 2 bedroom/2 bath/2 living/2 dinette for two couples traveling or family. Ask for more details. Once you have parked in our private lot and in your own King's Quarter's space, there is really no need to drive anywhere else. We have The Shoppe at The Manor, 1 waterfront and 3 main St. restaurants, 2 museums and a great little coffee shop all within walking distance of the Manor. We invite you to check out our guidebook for all things to do in town and a short drive away. unless we are on travel, if so there will be someone there if something is needed, I am always a text or phone call away. Our Neighborhood is a quaint little waterfront town located on the Susquehanna River. The Manor is with in walking distance to restaurants, museums, parks, coffee shop, The Shoppe @ The Manor. We are in the town's center and our town has trains, a fire station and the Manor sits on the Main Street. This could cause louder than normal noise levels, we do provide ear plugs located in the night stands for light sleepers. Come enjoy our fun walk about town and the river. We are sure you will fall in love with it as we have. We have a private parking lot next to the Manor, once you park you really do not need to drive anywhere within town, we are only 1 1/2 miles long, you can walk to everything (most locations are within 300-500 ft) If you would like to venture outside of town then you would want to have a vehicle. We must mention again that we are in the center of town, we have trains, a local fire department and the Manor is located on Main street. There is a potential for a higher noise volume so just in case we have provided ear plugs in the nightstands. The Manor has 3 units inside all with their own private space, please be kind to your neighbors and watch the noise levels in your unit. Looking for something a little larger or a little bigger, check out our Queen Suite (can rent both with a breezeway door in between King & Queen) Our stand alone cottage out back sleep's 4 comfortably and has a full kitchen, full bath, gas fireplace and a fenced in back yard.
