Loonsong Cottage

This beautiful lake front property is a northern Michigan gem. Nestled on the west side of the lake, it provides ample opportunities to take in a sunrise or sunset over the lake. The cottage is set up to sleep four people, with great amenities. Our space offers a work friendly area, indoor fire place, outdoor fire pit, waterfront with two kayaks, deck overlooking the lake. There is a boat rental place in the area if guests are interested in spending the day on the water. Guests are also welcome to swim, just be sure to wear water shoes! The lake is clear and gets up to 150 feet deep in areas. There are some zebra muscles. We have various pairs of water shoes for guests and the general store has some for sale if we don't have your size. Guest have access to all the property has to offer except for the garage. We have a shared driveway with designated parking spots in front of the garage. Guests are welcome to reach me on my cell phone, it is included when booking the site. They will also have interaction with my parents who live 30 minutes away and can be of assistance if needed. We love spending time in the outdoors during the spring, summer and fall season. If you like hiking, spending time on the water or relaxing while the waves lap on the pebble shore, you're going to love it here! Be sure to check out our guidebook for our favorite spots! You can ride your bike around the lake, boat or drive. It's a beautiful area. We have included a list of restaurants and places to visit in Hubbard lake and the surrounding area. In addition to kayaks for use with life jackets. We do allow pets, but charge an additional $50 for cleaning if you are going to have your pet friend join you during your stay. We also ask that all guests clean up after their pets inside and outside in the yard.
