Pinelodge is beautifully decorated throughout with contemporary furnishings and has a fashionable, industrial feel. Sleeping up to six guests in three good sized double bedrooms, it comes with a range of hanging and storage space for a practical and comfortable stay, making it perfect for a family getaway. It also offers flexible sleeping arrangements for smaller parties thanks to the three double beds so it’s great for multiple couples. The modern bathroom features high spec fixtures, has a large shower cubicle and Heated towel rail. The open plan living area is the centrepiece to this stunning lodge, with plenty of easy seating, dining for six, a contemporary, high spec kitchen and even its own quirky, pull out bar complete with chess board and bar stools. At the side you’ll find a separate entrance with a small porch area, ideal for wet walking gear and muddy boots. Outside, the lodge comes with a small private garden with patio, garden furniture and picnic bench. Ideal for a morning coffee in the fresh air, and in the afternoon soaking up the sunshine with a chilled beer or a glass of wine. Pinelodge is a great base from which to enjoy Cumbria at its best. Pinelodge has beautiful views looking out towards the the fells and is situated on a small holding with a few animals in peaceful surroundings and is the only holiday let on the property. Also only a couple of minutes down the road there is a cycleway which heads towards the nearest town of Workington (3.5 miles approx) which runs on the disused former railway track and passes through the lovely little village of Seaton (2 miles approx) which has a couple of grocery shops, takeaways and pubs. The cycle track is also a direct route to an Asda store which has a great café upstairs called the Terrace Café. In the other direction is the local town of Maryport with a beautiful harbour, aquarium and cafés. Slightly further along is the coastal village of Allonby with beaches stretching for miles looking over to Scotland. From here you have the best of both worlds, from the unspoilt wilderness of Loweswater, to the natural beauty and beach of St Bees Head and Allonby. You can easily access the coast within 10 minutes and the fells of The Lake District National Park within 20 minutes. Driving East you’re just 6 miles from the popular town of Cockermouth with an abundance of shops, bars, restaurants, coffee shops and lots of independent retailers. Free WiFi
