Streckhof Frauenkirchen is a family-friendly, 150 year old farmhouse in the beautiful Seewinkel area of Burgenland 10 min from Neusiedlersee. The house is a 55 min drive from Vienna. Our house is centered around spending time as a family or group. We have an extensive garden play area. St. Martin’s Therme is a 5 min drive, & Podersdorf is 12. Dedicated parking space directly in front of gate to the house, & additional parking on the street or church parking lot. Streckof Frauenkirchen is our second home, so check in is remote via lockbox. I’m available via email, phone, & text for questions. Streckhof Frauenkirchen is located in the beautiful Seewinkel area of northern Burgenland near Neusiedlersee. Our house is directly across from Frauenkirchen’s main attraction: Basilica Frauenkirchen. There are many swimming destinations a short drive away, & nearby St Martin’s Therme is perfect for swimming & relaxing year round. The Seewinkel area is also known for bird watching in the nearby national park, as well as biking on the many family-friendly trails. Dining in the area ranges from traditional Austrian to fusion food trucks. Wines in the area are traditionally white, but nearby Umathum is known for its world-famous reds. While guests would be most comfortable getting around by car, there is a direct train connection to Vienna. The train station is a twelve minute walk from the house through town. Taxi service is available.
