Brand new modern 4BR, 3.5BA home with saline pool and views of the Shawagunks Mountains. This newly constructed, boomerang shaped, modern house is located in Gardiner, NY, a 1:30 hour drive from Manhattan and a short 20m drive from the lovely town of new paltz. It is the perfect getaway for everybody’s that lives in the city and that needs to reconnect with nature. Our house sits on a 3.8 acre lot directly facing the famous shawagunks mountains. It was designed after the famous mid century “case study” houses often ot found in Palm Springs: a flat plane, concrete floors and floor-to-ceiling windows throughout. Its south-south exposure allows for beautiful light coming in throughout the day and spectacular sunsets! The house features 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The large living/dining/open kitchen area features designer modern furnishings (Charles Eames chairs, Togo sofas, etc.), a Rumford fireplace, and a state of the art kitchen. The kitchen includes a Nespresso machine, Dacor stove and oven, kitchen aid stand up mixer, Le Creuset ceramic Dutch oven, etc. Each bedroom has large windows to enjoy the views of the meadow directly facing the house. The master bathroom is equipped with an BainUltra air bathtub and a 12” rain shower. All other bathrooms include a rain shower as well. The family / Tv room is located at the center of the house and boasts a beautiful inside courtyard with large plants and trees sitting behind a glass wall. The family room includes a 72” flat screen Tv with integrated apps such as netflix, hbo max, etc. and a lot of board games. The couch can be used as an additional sleeping area by taking off the back cushions There are two outside patios: one directly adjacent to the kitchen, with immaculate views of the gorgeous meadow, featuring a 10 seat modern picnic table, Weber charcoal grill and 12’ umbrella. The other patio is best enjoyed for sunset watching. It features a sofa, coffee tables and lounge chairs. Out on the 3.8 acre lot, sits a 40 x 16’ inground, heated, saline, fully fenced swimming pool with integrated stairs and benches, a ping pong table, a fire pit, 2 queen size hammocks. and a 15’ trampoline. The house is perfect during any season for friends and family gatherings. It is particularly suited for those who want to explore the area anytime of the year: fall foliage in the Catskills, apple picking, hunter mountain for skiing (40m away), hikes in Minnewaska state park, storm king art center (30m), etc. Our house was built in 2021, it is brand new, we hope that you’ll enjoy it as much as we do… Guests have access to the entire home and grounds Host is available at all times during your stay. Enjoy over 25,000 acres of hiking, biking and climbing that offers a variety of seasonal activities to enjoy year-round. Take an afternoon and venture out to the local vineyards. Over 12 local wineries in the area to enjoy. The trail has an assortment of annual events, including lobster festivals, jazz concerts and more. Visit the Tuthilltown Spirtis Distillary-the only whiskey distillery in New York. The Angry Orchard is located on the outskirts of Gardiner, stop by for a tasting. Just a short 15 minute drive from the house. Additionally, the close proximity to historic towns along the Hudson Valley, such as New Paltz, Rosendale and Hyde Park. Plus many more. Sky diving at "The Ranch" located in Gardiner. Go for a jump or park and watch them land. A fun experience for all to enjoy. We are located 15 miles from the Mohonk Mt House. Go for the day and maybe visit the Spa for a relaxing massage. Being only 90 miles north of NYC you can get the best of both worlds. This is an all season area to explore summer and winter activities.
