This is a Spacious, LARGE 2 bedroom 1 bathroom unit with assigned parking space, in the heart of Berwyn and in a safe multicultural neighborhood. Snacks, water, soft drinks and coffee. THIS APARTMENT has been professionally painted and has new furniture. Close to Costco, markets and takeout. This is the latest unit we remodeled. So you’ll enjoy the comfort of a brand new kitchen and bathroom ;) you also get one parking space so you don’t have to fuzz looking for street parking. Our apartment is perfect for the tourist, explorer, student, the professional being transferred for a couple of weeks or months, or if your house is being remodeled. Our building is safe and our tenants have been living here for many years. This is an apartment that is part of a 6 unit building where we have long term tenants. Some have lived here 20 years plus. We ask you to be sincere in the number of guest that you will bring. we do not allow parties, gatherings or rowdy tenants. I hope that you understand, This is a family oriented neighborhood and building. Smoking in the apartment will result in forfeiture of deposit. It's your apartment, the space is yours! We ask you to be courteous to our other tenants and enjoy. There are two entrances to the building. And for your safety, there's a main entrance and a kitchen entrance to your apartment. You will be provided all the keys. There’s coin operated washer and dryer is basement. You will have one assigned parking spot. We will be available though email or text any time if you need us. Anything and everything you need is close by and hassle free. Steps to the library, Costco, restaurants, Marshall’s, supermarkets mall, dollar store. It’s all super close by. If your are exploring the town, the City of Berwyn is multicultural and booming! At the Center of Life in Chicago, Berwyn is in close proximity to anything you want to do in the Chicago area, including great access to Chicago sports events like the Blackhawks, Bears, Bulls, White Sox, Cubs and Fire. Berwyn is just minutes away from downtown Chicago and neighbors the Chicagoland communities of Oak Park, Forest Park, Riverside, La Grange, and Brookfield. If you rather stay closer to home There are many things to do including visiting the Frank Lloyd Wright house, Brookfield zoo, parks, hikes, Max McCook Athletic & Exposition, Fitzgerald's for a night of open mic and dancing. Berwyn is the perfect spot to visit and live. But don’t wait – Berwyn won’t be Chicago’s best-kept secret for long! Located just 8 miles west of Chicago’s loop and has convenient access to the Eisenhower (I-290) and the Stevenson (I-55) Expressways and two major airports. Public transportation is also available via the CTA’s blue line “el” or the Metra BNSF line. The range of transportation options make commuting to work or planning a trip to attend one of Berwyn’s bustling business corridors or community events a snap. PUBLIC TRANSPORT TO DOWNTOWN! This is how I suggest you do public transport from our place: The fastest: From our building you are going to take a taxi, Lift or Uber to the Pink Line train station on Cermak and 54th street. From there take the Pink line into the city, it will drop you off Washington and Wabash ( about two blocks from Millennium park) Or wabash and Adams to be close to the art institute. Second fastest: From our building you can walk 10 to 15 minutes to Harlem and Cermak ( taxi or Uber or lift) to the bus station and take the 21 CERMAK bus OR the 322 PACE to take you to the pink line train and come to the city. I love paying attention to detail! GUEST THAT BOOK FOR MORE THAN 28DAYS.... I require anyone staying longer than a month to pay an extra cleaning fee of 65 dollars after 28 days. This is To make sure that my property is well kept and that we can turn it around in time for the next guest. And plus who doesn't love coming home to sparkling clean house. If you refuse this extra charge, after 28 days, I will pass by the property to make sure its being well kept. Thanks for your understanding.
