Riverbend is situated on a leafy hilltop with 270 degree awe inspiring views. This private sanctuary is beautifully calming & lovingly finished. The 120 acres of secluded paradise is teeming with wildlife & is a mixture of open grazing paddocks, a nature reserve, a well maintained 1900 macadamia tree orchard & about 15 acres of gullies with springs, creeks & wildlife corridors. One of the many bonuses of this property is the huge private river water frontage to Coopers Creek, approx. 1.5km, with small waterfalls & several large swimming holes, one of Olympic proportions! That’s an absolute treat to swim, or paddle downstream in. Other great assets include stands of native rainforest, a citrus orchard & a number of spring fed creeks running over the land. Wildlife abounds, with koalas, wallabies, platypuses, echidnas, brush tail possums & over 60 species of birds. All guests will be welcomed on arrival & departure. Your Concierge will arrange with you all the details and give you directions to the property. There is ample parking for guests only. If you are hiring the house for an event / wedding buses will be arranged for arrival & departure. There will be a manager on site if needed at anytime & guests may choose to have a Concierge arrange a Chef for all meals or use our Fridge Fill Service during your stay. You may request be left alone to enjoy complete privacy or you may wish to have as much help & service as you need whilst you stay. Minyon Falls Waterfall is on your doorstep, & Crystal Castle is only minutes away. You will feel as though you are close enough to be right in the middle of the action & hustle n bustle of Byron Bay and the beaches yet far enough away to feel like you are at a peaceful & beautiful hideaway. If arriving by plane to Ballina or Coolengatta Airport you will need to hire a car to drive to Riverbend. We can arrange car hire for you or we can arrange a Concierge pick up & drop off transportation service. Although we find that most people like the freedom of having a car so that they can drive around the hinterland & surrounding areas to see waterfalls or just to drive to Byron Bay & the beaches.
