This cottage sleeps 6. Queen bed downstairs and 4 single beds in the loft above. The cottage is self contained. We provide pots and pans and cutlery, etc. There is a gas BBQ mini Webber on the cottage balcony, and a wood fire BBQ on the lawn area outside. Enjoy bush walking, canoeing, swimming & fishing on 100 acres of bush. We have 4 s/contained cottages, the ideal bush getaway for groups & families. For large group bookings please ask for more information. Within the Wollemi National Park, Cottages are surrounded by bush with scenic views over Wheeny Creek. An inexpensive getaway in the bush, with as much --or as little, to do, as you wish. The Huge Entertainment Shed with its own kitchen, eat in & eat out areas, open fire, barbeque & outdoor Fire Pit has seen many gatherings over the past 20 years. Guests are free to explore hundreds of acres, no areas out of bounds except tool shed & main residence. Many barbecue & camp fire areas ( outside of fire ban periods) also gas barbecues. Local information & maps are available in your cottage, we are generally home to assist with any requirements. Closest shops for essential supplies: Kurrajong Village, 15 minutes drive - great coffee, deli, IGA grocer & a couple of restaurants. Wilberforce 20 minutes - butcher, baker & general store. Richmond & Windsor 30 mins hold local produce markets on weekends. These are bigger towns with lots of shops & the big supermarkets Coles & Woolworths. The Blue Mts Botanic Gardens at Mt Tomah are a pretty drive up Bells Line of Road, 1 hour away. Closest public transport, Richmond & Windsor railways, 30 mins drive. Ideal for free secure car parking if heading to the city for an event.
