IDILIC HIDEAWAY RETREAT IN BEAUTIFUL SUFFOLK

Situated in the quietest of settings, in the beautiful rural county of Suffolk, enjoying views of the peaceful countryside from its idyllic isolated setting. From this restful hideaway one can explore the many local footpaths and lanes on foot or visit nearby attractions by car or bicycle. This is a landscape of windmills, churches and nature reserves, with steam attractions, sports' venues and a wealth of local shops, pubs and eateries easily accessible. Hostlers Cottage is set within the curtilage of the listed farmhouse and has been designed in a sympathetic manner, retaining original oak beams and the introduction of new hand-crafted solid oak joinery features, some from wood sourced on site. As a purpose built conversion of original farm buildings, Hostlers has everything one would wish to find in a holiday home-from-home. As well as a well-appointed kitchen area, there is a separate utility area with washing machine and dish washer. The bathroom has the pampering features of a drench shower and a whirlpool bath with oodles of piping hot water. There are TVs with DVD players in both lounge and bedroom, and a small enclosed garden with dog-proof fencing and patio, table and chairs. Additionally, there is a covered BBQ area adjoining the cottage, ample parking and, uniquely, a decking area set in the middle of one of the ponds. Here one can soak up the rays or watch the sunset with a gin and tonic to hand. The high-ceiling and open-plan design gives the living area a spacious airy feel whilst, at the same time, there is a cosy comforting feel to this little gem of a country hideaway; ideal for romantic evenings for two away from the hubbub of modern life. We like our guests to be able to relax whilst staying at Hostlers cottage. We are available to answer any questions or at hand if needed 24 hours a day. We are situated between Bury St Edmunds, Thetford and Diss. The beautiful Knettishall Heath with its wild ponies is just four miles away. The historic towns of Cambridge and Norwich are within an hour's drive, and the iconic coastlines of Norfolk or Suffolk make for a memorable day out. We are surrounded by droves perfect for dog walking. We can supply bikes upon request. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the road (approx. 5 min walk). A car is advisable.
