Apartment in a charming Villa located between Como and Milan. Perfect for visiting Northern Italy and Switzerland, the villa is located within walking distance from the railways and close to motorways connecting Lombardy, its mountains & its lakes A parking place is available in front of the house, garden with playground for children, ping-pong table under the big porch for the rainy days. The main bedroom is tidy and clear, with a beautiful bathroom close by. A smaller bedroom is available for children or young adults, located on a separate level, for a small additional fee. Living and dining area, a laundry, a study and a second bathroom complete this charming Italian villa typical of the '70s, in the heart of the Lombardy region. A perfect location, close to the railway line connecting to downtown Como and Milano, enabling easy access to the Fiera Milano. The very quiet area makes this house a perfect base to spend a few days in charming Northern Italy. The guests will have access to the apartment (with its own separate entrance) and to the front porch, as well as the manicured gardens with trees. Amenities include: - refrigerator, microwave, equipped kitchen (electric range) - WiFi - bed linens - towels - shampoo/shower gel and soap - hair drier - cutlery, pans - kettle - moka coffee machine - instant coffee, tea, herbal tea - oil, vinegar and salt - biscuits, toasts and melba toasts - washing and dishwashing machines are available, but to be sparsely used (please discuss their use with the owners) Dina and Gianfrancesco speak perfect English, German, Italian and Russian. French and Spanish are a little basic but we can understand each other! We look forward to seeing you soon. The residential area of the house is very quiet and YES it represents the FIRST NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH AREA in Italy!! Neighbours are friendly but may be observing you, for safety's sake: just say you are guests at our place :) The street is silent and birds will wake you up from the trees nearby! Caronno offers many eating opportunity for every pocket. Home delivered pizzas, a very tasty Sicilian restaurant, a famous (but expensive) fish restaurant where people come from Milano, and a number of excellent bars to experience a true Italian breakfast or Sicilian sweets in another sicilian candy store: you will not forget their cannoli! As you can see from the pictures, there are a number of excursions from the area, both by car, by bike or motorbike or by public transportation. Ferrovie Nord Milano (TreNord) brings you to the central Cadorna Station in Milano and, within 35 min., Varese, Malpensa, Rho Fiera, Como, Desenzano, Pavia, Arona, Vigevano, Bergamo, lakes, seas and mountains... so many excursions, just ask!
