Bright cosy 3.5 room appartment (60m2) sleeping space up to 4p two bedrooms one living room with sleeping couch in case needed. Ideal gateaway place close to Zurich, Airport and central for most tourist attractiona like Mount Titlis, Rheinfall, Interlaken etc / BBQ area / WiFi / parking / incl. linen&towel It's a lovely cosy and bright 3.5 room apparment in a house with 3 flats surrounded by a large garden with BBQ area and a small "chalet" with space for 8-10persons ideal for a cosy swiss fondue evening or to invite some friends over. Please ask for availability. The appartment comes with free and fast WiFi at a speed of 10MB/s It's important for us that you feel welcome at home. Therefore feel free to use our garden or the bbq area. If you want to use the "Chalet" just let us know quickly to make sure it's available. In case you need some laundry done please let us know in advance. There's a laundry machine and a drier in the cellar. Please ask for instruction before using. If you need space to store some sports equipment or Bike let us know. We'll find a place for that. Whenever possible I'm glad to welcome you personally for check-in. If not the key will be placed in a keypod with an individual code. We are your neighbors on the upper floors so don't hesitate contact us if something is missing. I'm also glad to provide you with information about public transport to Zurich or the airport or help you with any questions. Public swimming pool indoor and outdoor and childrens playground just around the corner. Sports place, Limmat river and old town of Baden within walking distance. It's a house with 3 appartments. We're both very open and welcome you to Altenburg. We do our best that you enjoy your stay. It might happen that we invite you for a typical swiss cheese fondue to the chalet if you like. there's public parking space around the house. blue zone is free for limited time during day and unlimited over night. white parking zone cost a small fee. please read information sheet in your apartment for more information about parking situation. travelling by car: coming from highway A1 use exit Nr.55 and follow direction "Bad Zurzach" for about 2.5km and you will see a big parking area on the right hand side. There's parking space in front of the door (blue marked parking space) with limited free parking time during the day (1hour upon arrival time - arrival time has to be visible behind front window e.g. on piece of paper). Overnight from 18:30-09:00 the blue parking space is free. There's also a lot of parking space in front of the appartment (white marked parking space on payment CHF 0.60/hour) also for bigger cars and trailers. By train from/to airport Zurich: Option A) take fast train IR (xx.56h) to "Baden" and then change to Bus Nr 3 or 4 to "Baden, Schwimmbad" or walk in 17mins (1'500m) Option B) take S16 to "Zürich Oerlikon" change train to S6 to "Wettingen" from where it's a 700m / 7min walk or short bus ride with Bus Nr 3 or 4 to "Baden, Schwimmbad" trip duration: 40min By train from/to Zurich main station: Option A) take fast train IR at xx.06 / xx.09 / xx.36 to "Baden" then change to bus Nr 3/4 or walk. trip duration 35min Option B) take S6 at xx.01 / xx.31 or S12 at xx.14 / xx.44h to "Wettingen" then walk or take Bus Nr 3/4. trip duration 40min for more details please check internet for "SBB" swiss train company of find directions on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps. please consider that you will need to buy a train ticket which is about 10€ one way. From Wettingen train station S6 and S12 runs 4x/hour to Zurich in about 30mins. From Baden train station there's fast train to Zurich in 15mins 2x/hour and S-Bahn. Also direct train to Zurich airport. please check SBB online for time shedule and fares. There's grocery stores nearby and in walking distance such as Lidl at Schwimmbadstrasse 29 in Wettingen or Migros at Landstrasse 69 in Wettingen. There's a bakery at Seminarstrasse 73 and small grocery shops with extra long opening hours at Wettingen train station (Migrolino) or Landstrasse 79. If you want to go out for dinner I'd reccomend the old town of Baden with the restaurants "Isebähnli", "Schyzerhüsli", "Rebstock" or "Hirschli". There's also restaurants nearby such as italian restaurant "Santa Lucia" (Wettingerstrasse 29 in Baden) or "Grenzstein" at Landstrasse 1 in Wettingen.
