Tour the Watermen's Museum; cruise across the Chesapeake Bay to Tangier Island; walk, bike or kayak around Reedville, take a fishing charter or launch your boat nearby; enjoy great waterfront seafood restaurants; or just relax with a book. The cottage was recently remodeled. HV/AC and all kitchen appliances are new. washer and dryer. Sleeping and bath accommodations make the cottage most suitable for a couple or small family. A favorite spot following dinner is Chitterchats, a great ice cream shop on main street. The Watermen's Museum on Main Street provides fascinating film, photo and artifact displays that describe the founding of Reedville and the menhaden industry. No public transportation is available but the cottage a short drive from attractions on Main Street, a boat landing, and Bay Cruise to Tangier Island. All surfaces are cleaned and disinfected by full time professional staff.
