Property: In its previous life, the property was a single family dwelling. Now it has been thoughtfully renovated into 5 self catering, 1 -bedroom apartments. Apartment: Kitchen includes all the necessary appliances; electric double burner, mini refrigerator and microwave, with the associated pots and cutlery. The pantry has been stocked with basic ingredients e.g. salt, pepper, cooking oil etc. The Studio sleeping space contains one double-sized bed, a Single-sized transformable Sofa Bed and a double- sized Airbed. Additionally, there is clothing storage, living space , Netflix, AC unit and Work-From-Home office space or Dining space. I respect your privacy, but feel free to touch base if you have any questions. +Arima is located about 20 minutes east of the airport and 45 minutes away from the bright lights of our capital, Port of Spain. +It is the most important town in east Trinidad with many government and commercial offices located here. +It is also a College town. The University of Trinidad and Tobago, O'mera Campus is only a 10 minutes drive away. An attractive location for international students and campus visitors. +Arima is also an excellent launching base to explore the unique eco- tourist sites located in east Trinidad. +Get touching close to pre-historic Leatherback Turtles as they make their way onto shore to lay their eggs. +Take a drive along the North East coastline and wonder at the difference between the calm, turquiose waters of the Caribbean Sea on one side and the energetic waters of the Atlantic Ocean on the other. +Arima- a place for everyone! Airport Transfer Fee Schedule: Between 5am -10pm = $20USD Late Hours = $25 USD Asa Wright Bird Sanctuary = $22USD per trip All other trips can be negotiated and arranged with the driver. Payments are made in cash, directly to the driver (as you would with any normal taxi). Otherwise, we are two blocks away from public transportation and on site parking is available for your own rental car. 1) Marijuana use has been decriminalized in Trinidad & Tobago. However, this property is NOT marijuana-friendly. We cater to non- smokers only! ---------------------------- 2) This is a COVID-19 Safe Zone! For your comfort & protection, we aim to maintain an artifical bubble of Vaccinated People, to create high herd immunity in a close area. Upon Check In, you will be asked to show documents proving your own fully vaccinated status. ---------------------------- 3) If you cannot produce documents showing your fully vaccinated status you will agree to pay an additional $100 USD for professional cleaning with a misting disinfectant apparatus. ---------------------------- 4) Additionally, no Visitors are allowed on the compound.
