Modern seaside home - sea views & beach location

A wonderful large family holiday home with sweeping sea views. Set in an idyllic location in the national park, a short walk from the garden gives you direct access to the glorious sandy beach. This house is modern, spacious and newly renovated to a high standard throughout. Overlooking Freshwater East beach, surrounded by miles of coastal paths, it is a perfect base to explore the area. Tenby & Pembroke are both a short 10 min drive away. Up to 3 well behaved dogs are welcome. We are making every effort to follow current guidelines. As a precaution rather than using an external company, all laundry is now cleaned at the property by our local cleaner who takes pride in preparing it to a high level of cleanliness and hygiene for your stay. Extra cleaning time has also been allocated. As a suggestion, Tesco home delivery from Pembroke Dock is a convenient alternative to shopping in store. Pembrokeshire is a beautiful, uncrowded location, with plenty of fresh air and wild beaches to explore, and we hope you enjoy your visit to this charming unspoiled location. Description: A wonderful modern detached house ideal for families to reset, reflect, enjoy the scenery and beautiful surroundings. The dinning room and kitchen are perfect for large families and groups who want some independence. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, oven, washing machine, large fridge and freezer. With a pub and restaurant as well as the beach and coastal path all within walking distance it is a perfect holiday retreat! Private access through the main door. The house consists of a living area, kitchen and guest toilet on the ground floor with direct access to the garden; the bedrooms & bathrooms are located upstairs. Amazing proximity to all local attractions - surrounded by beaches, coastal walks, Tenby & Saundersfoot (eating, beaches), freshwater west (walking-surfing), stackpole & bosheston (lily ponds), Oakwood and Heatherton amusement parks. Located in Freshwater East, the beach is wide, sandy & dog friendly, with a backcloth of sand dunes. In summer it is a veritable sun trap and the waves are gentle and toddler-friendly when the weather is calm. The beach is a 2-3 minute walk through the garden path and down through the sand dunes. Freshwater East is in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and the 180-mile long coastal footpath passes through, providing the opportunity of exhilarating walks west towards St Govans Head and beyond and east to historic Manorbier, with its magnificent castle, and Tenby with its spectacular beaches, historic town walls and panoramic vistas. The local village pub is 1 minute walk from the house, serving local ales and pub food. Barafundle bay is a very popular beach to visit - from stackpole (5mins drive from house) where there is a small cafe and the walk along the coastal path to the beach takes 10 minutes. Alternatively walking from the house take the coastal path from Trewent point, the walk will take approximately 1 hr. Tenby & Saundersfoot are popular small towns approx 15mins away with nice places to eat & beaches. Manor wildlife park, Heatherton & Oakwood are popular places to visit for alternative entertainment. Nearby Lamphey Court Hotel & Spa serve good food and have a nice spa, perfect if the weather is not so good! If you like sea food there is an excellent small shop on Tenby harbour selling fresh fish & lobster. My young family & I really enjoy spending time on freshwater east beach & exploring the sand dunes. The property is well located with numerous beaches and tourist attractions nearby. The town of Pembroke is a 10 minute drive away. There is a Tesco located in Pembroke Dock & Tenby. Parking in the driveway for 4/5 cars. The closest train st is in Lamphey village and the local bus stop is 1 minute from the house. Towels are not provided but on request can be arranged for a supplementary charge. On departure please leave the house tidy. Please use the recycling bags provided to separate your waste during your stay and place your rubbish on departure in the recycling station at the entrance to the property. Rubbish collection will not be accepted if waste is not separated. Collection is Wednesday am. The house is open to bookings from families and friends, it is not suitable for groups for the purpose of holding parties or extended celebrations. There is a supplemental dog charge of £10.
