Bio House - 35km West of Budapest

Experience a beautiful dome-house with a pond in picturesque nature. Enjoy two+ nights stay in a unique bio house in an absolutely quiet village environment 35 km from Budapest. Have you ever been to a dome house? This is a good opportunity to become familiar with it, healthy environment with all modern convenience. Guests - except for my bedroom - have all further use of the house, some rooms, e.g. kitchen shared, I use the smaller bathroom. Bedrooms 1 and 2 open into each other, there is only a curtain between them. Unless otherwise agreed, guests will receive these two rooms, which belong to the large bathroom. Parking in the yard. I live and work here. Spend most of my time on the property. The village's old name, Kirwa, was mentioned first in 1255, among the first settlements in the area. During the 18th century a wave of German immigrants arrived in the Kingdom of Hungary and settled here as a result of the settlement policy of the Habsburg government. Proof of their flourishing existence is the German cemetery nearby; nowadays only about 20% of the population claims German roots, as a result of the government's forced resettlement actions after WWII. One of the most famous sights worth visiting close by is the Esztergom Basilica, which happens to be not only the largest church but also the tallest building in Hungary, with its dome reaching 100 m (328 feet) or about 30 stories! The basilica was consecrated in 1856. It sits on top of a hill, overlooking the Danube river. If you visit Esztergom, don't miss a "dip" in the thermal baths of Sturovo (Parkany), Slovakia, just across the river. The "Vadas" Thermal Resort offers indoor and outdoor swimming pools and wellness services for the whole family. The Bio House is about 40 km or an hour drive by car from Budapest, through winding country roads. There is no direct train service to Mariahalom; the closest train station is about 13 km away; bus service is scarce, with only a few departures per day.
