From the living room you enter the garden through open doors with a mosquito screen. The kitchen is fully equipped: induction hob, dishwasher, oven/microwave, fridge and 3 drawer freezer. An amount of cooking utensils, plates, glasses, cutlery, etc. The house is very light, through the windows at the front (kitchen) and rear (living room). There is a toilet with sink in the hall. On the 1st floor; two fully furnished bedrooms and comfortable double beds. One bedroom is furnished as a closet room, here a cot could be added or use it as a workspace. Mosquito nets. The ceilings on the first floor slope upwards, giving you a sense of space. Bathroom with heating, toilet, washbasin and an extra spacious shower cabin with rain and hand shower. Separate storage cupboard with washing machine and dryer, ironing board, iron, drying racks and vacuum cleaner. The house is on a corner, is fully furnished and very clean. Bed linen, bath and kitchen linen are widely available, as well as kitchen and toilet rolls, soap pumps, shower gel and shampoo, washing machine- and dishwasher pods, olive oil and various herbs. These are available for free. Also Nespresso machine, milk frother, kettle, juicer, blender, toaster, mixer, hand blender, BBQ and fans. Smart TV, Netflix and Wifi are available. Outside in the lounge area there is also WiFi and electricity. Boat rental Grou is a real water sports village. You can rent boats in a few places, also very close to the house. Bicycles: There are two bicycles in the shed that you can use for free, if you need several bicycles, you can rent them at Joop Zandberg in the village. Children: Children are of course very welcome, only the garden is not fenced off. The house is not directly on the water, which means no danger for small kids. There is space to put a cot in the third bedroom (closet room). From a hygienic point of view, please bring this bed yourself. Next to our park is a park with a small swimming pool (75 cm deep), mini golf and there are several small and somewhat larger playgrounds. Pets: Unfortunately, from a hygienic and allergic point of view, pets are not allowed. The entire house with 4 beds (1x double and 1x double with separate mattresses), storage room and garden is available for you. There is space to put a cot in the third bedroom (closet room). Our holiday home is located in the middle of the Frisian Lakes -in the triangle- Leeuwarden, Drachten and Heerenveen- near the cozy water sports town of Grou. The house is located next to the Watersportpark Yn'e Lijte (In de luwte). The house itself is located in a very quiet park and is a wonderful base from which to explore the watery and green surroundings. Both via the water and via the numerous cycling routes that the area is rich in. The famous 'Skutsjes-Silen' starts in the summer from the picturesque Grou. The adjacent park has recently been awarded a Green Label Award and has its own restaurant 'Oan' t Wetter '. In short, an oasis of peace, nature, lots of water (sports) and culinary enjoyment. Supermarkets (Jumbo and Lidl) within cycling / walking distance (2.5 km), these are also accessible by boat, the Jumbo has a jetty. They are open 7 days a week and are next to each other. Grou has a railway station. Walking distance to the house is 40 minutes. You can moor in Grou at 6 restaurants by boat. The distance to Leeuwarden by car is 14 km, Heerenveen 18 km.
