La Bureliere, Gorron, France

La Bureliere is situated in the country, and is only 5 mins from Gorron. The guest room overlooks our lake and garden and has its own private access with outside seating area. Tea & coffee making facilities and a fridge are provided in the room. The B&B room is self contained with its own access and car parking space. There is a double futon which can be used for an extra 20 euros a night. Guests have access to their own private seating area outside, plus they can use the garden. There is a lake and a decking area for seating and enjoying the peace and quiet of the French countryside. Breakfast is served in the dinning room, but can be served outside, weather permitting. We live on site and are able to help with queries which may arise during a guests visit. Gorron is situated in the Pays de La Loire. The Leisure Park de La Colmont is approx 5 minutes away and has paintball, swing golf, canoeing and kayaking available. Also nearby are the Gardens des Renaudies with themed gardens and exhibitions throughout the year. Mayenne is approx 30 minutes away with its Château and nearby Roman ruins at Jublains. There are walks and cycle paths at Ambrieres Les Vallees which is 20 minutes from here. Also at Ambrieres is an equestrian centre and canoeing and kayaking are also available. Gorron is 30 minutes from Domfront with its medeval buildings and Fougeres with a château. There are also a number of cider making outlets in the area. Getting to Gorron is most practical by car, and is 2 hours from Caen and St Malo. Calais and the Channel Tunnel are 6 hours away. Once here, there are ample opportunities for cycling on quiet roads in unspoilt countryside. The lake in the garden is not fenced due to its size. This is a non smoking home.
