Modern, cosy room equipped to highest standard

Rafters in Marcham is a quiet and peaceful house just 1 mile off the A34, giving you quick and easy access to Abingdon, Oxford, Milton Park and Didcot Parkway railway station. This single room is a very cosy room to the back of the house overlooking the landscaped garden. It provides everything you could possibly need if you've got to stay away from home. The room has a smart TV (so you can watch all your favourites using your subscription to Netflix, Prime, NowTV ao) as well as tea/coffee making facility with loose leaf tea, a selection of herbal tea bags and ground coffee for the cafetiere. Bathrobe, hairdryer and iron/board are also provided. You can use the WiFi free of charge and there are several fast USB charging points in the room. The rate is for room only. You will not be be disturbed by any cleaning staff during your stay. The room will however been cleaned once a week if you are staying for more than 7 days. A snack bar, a fridge (stocked with soft drinks and fresh milk) and a Nespresso machine are in the hallway. We live on-site and will be around to answer any questions during our normal check-in time 3 - 8 pm. Marcham is a small village with one local pub, serving evening meals Wed - Sat (subject to change). More dining option are a short drive away. There are several restaurants and pubs within a 10-minute drive. A bus stop is just a 2-minute walk from the house, with service to Abingdon and Oxford, once per hour.
