Offline in Fantanele! ( Sibiu, Romania )

A clean and cozy holiday-house in a historical village alongside of the wonderful Carpatian Mountains. 15 min drive to airport Sibiu, 20 min drive to the city Sibiu, (European Capital of 2007) 30 min drive to Paltinis (hiking) 35 min drive to the salty lakes of Ocna Sibiului (float/hover like in the dead Sea) 35 min drive to start of Transfagarasan-road to Balea Lac mountain-lake Healty signal-free place! (signal is just around the corner) Have quality-time with friends or family. The house exists of one big space on the first floor, about 50m2. Half is livingroom, half is kitchen. (indoor comfortable stairs). On the ground floor are two sleepingrooms, both about 20m2, a shower with toilet and an extra separate toilet. The courtyard is about 75m2, flat and of concrete, looking right into the green. Perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the sun, the stars and the sounds of a little brook. overall acces We are living about 10 minutes away. Available for questions or touristic tips. There is low traffic, as mostly only inhabitants will pass, sometimes with their traditional horse and cart. The village is traditional and small, it has no bar or big shop, but supermarkt is less then 10 minutes drive and a very nice restaurant is on only 3 km. The interesting city Sibiu (European Capital of 2007) is about 20km drive, saltwater lakes (Ocna Sibiului) are about 35 km drive. The village (mentioned in National Geografic guide) is alongside the King`s road, which leads to the Transalpina Mountainroad. Start your hike 50 metres from the guesthouse! The trainstation is about 3 km distance. A big part of the road in the village is without asphalt, be carefull driving a car. As it is in the name "offline in Fantanele": there is a weak phone signal in that corner of the village. Internet is available via modum. Perfect to go a bit offline and having real conversations. Stronger phone signal is available around the corner.
