The river wear is a short stroll across open greenspace, the riverside here forms part of the 74 mile stretch of the Weardale way. The house itself is open plan to the ground floor.....great for socialising! The 1st floor comprises of two very generous sized bedrooms. The enclosed rear outside space is equipped with table and chairs for you to enjoy that early morning coffee or late evening tipple! The house is 4 miles from the market town of Bishop Auckland and 8 miles from the city of Durham. Beaches with wonderfull cliff top walks and the usual seaside attractions are approx 30 minute drive and so are the North pennines AONB. Local tourist attractions include kynren, Beamish.. The living museum of the North and Diggerland. Only a phone call or message away if needed. Shops, takeaways and pubs just a 10 minute walk away. There is also a small corner shop for essentials a minute's walk away.
