Beautiful country home in Hampshire

Our beautiful 4 bedroom home is on a private road in the picturesque rural Hampshire village of Swanmore. Come and explore our quiet and peaceful part of the world... Our property is a period family home, built around 1899 and extended multiple times in recent years. A new kitchen extension was finished December 2019, with beautiful high ceilings, with has created a wonderful bright family space, leading through to the living room, with double sided wood burning stove, and large patio doors lead out into a peaceful country garden. There is a play room full of toys, a music room, and the snug - a room tucked away from the main living space, with a cosy sofa and shelves full of books. Upstairs there are 2 bathrooms (1 recently refurbished), in addition to a downstairs newly refurbished shower room, and 4 bedrooms - 1 king, 1 double, a twin and a single. There is space for 2-3 cars on the drive, with an extra space opposite. Our garden is an old clay pit, full of wildlife and waiting to be explored, with a rope swing, zip wire and hot tub from where to watch the sun set in the evenings... You will be free to use the whole property, wifi, entertainment, garden, and whatever you find in the house. There will be local help for you if needed of course, but we will let you enjoy your stay without interference or interruption. Swanmore is a peaceful Hampshire village with a local grocery store, post office, butcher and cafe. The village has 2 great pubs (both within easy walking distance), and footpaths lead from the house onto the South Downs. We live on a quiet private road with residents access only. The recreation ground is next door, as is ‘Greens Meadow’ and the woods. Cricket is regularly played in the summer on the rec, and there is a skatepark and bmx track 1/2 mile away. Swanmore is well placed to explore Winchester, Southampton, Portsmouth and the South Downs with all they have to offer. The New Forest and Chichester are within a short drive as is the South Coast. There are buses to winchester, southampton and fareham from Swanmore. Our nearest train station is Botley, a 10 minute drive away. We have 2 very friendly cats who would appreciate feeding!
