A quiet retreat to unwind near Mundham, Norfolk.

"The Cart Lodge" is a recently converted one bedroom detached, single storey property situated close to the city of Norwich and about 30 minutes drive from the Suffolk Coastal towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh and close to the Norfolk Broads. The Cart Lodge is the perfect place to spend a few days and unwind whilst exploring the the local area. The town of Loddon lies just one mile away and has a variety of Shops, Cafes and Public Houses as well as a number of Takeaways. The Cart Lodge is bright, airy and modern. There is an open plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen, separate double bedroom and a bathroom with separate shower and a bath. There is a flat screen Television in both the sitting room and the bedroom. In addition there are bi-fold doors leading to a private raised decking area with a table and chairs and views of the main garden. The properties owners live in the adjacent barn and are available to assist as required. We are friendly and welcoming and will do all we can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Around the property there are plenty of opportunities for country walks or cycling and guests are welcome to bring their bikes with them and a lockable bike storage area is available as well as electrical sockets to charge electric bikes. Whilst we are close to the main A146, you will not be disturbed by traffic noise from the main road and we are ideally placed for visiting the towns of Bungay, Beccles, Loddon etc. A regular bus service runs from Loddon to Norwich and Beccles and there is also a local Taxi company close by.
