"Les Deux Clés" Quiet home with pool in Roeschwoog

Come and discover Alsace! Our home is located in close proximity to many exceptional places to experience. 40 mins north of Strasbourg with easy access either by train or car, 20 mins to Baden-Baden to relax in the historical Roman thermes, 10 mins to the potteries or the international golf of Soufflenheim, and short drives for hiking in the Black Forest or the Vosges. Whether you are an outdoor enthusiasts or prefer to indulge in the food and wine of the region, there is something for everyone. Our gated home has a large, open floor plan and is great for families. The sizeable garden has apple, pear, cherry, and mirabelle trees, as well as raspberry bushes, at your disposal. Enjoy playing soccer, badminton, or volleyball in the privacy of the yard; a large swing and a basketball board are also available. Take advantage of the terrace, heated pool and outside BBQ from May through September. Enjoy Free WiFi, fully equipped kitchen, sat TV, DVD player, washer/dryer, Heat. Guest may conveniently check-in at the agreed upon arrival time with gate remotes provided at check-in. There is place in the garage for 2 cars. Bikes and kids scooters are available in the garage. The house is located just a short walk to the train station or a quick drive to the A35 (France) or the A5 (Germany) to start your adventures. You will have the house to yourselves. We will give you your privacy but we are only a message / phone call away should you need anything. Occasionally we need to do work at the property, but we will always let you know in advance. We speak English, French, German, and Alsatian. Upon request, we will be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have planning your stay regarding tourism, transportation, restaurants, or activities (golf, hiking, biking, historical sites, shopping, wine tasting, theatre, nightlife, thermes/spa) Roeschwoog is a quiet community located in the Bas-Rhin, 2km from the Rhine river. There is a traditional butcher and baker within walking distance of the house, and farmers to buy products direct from in the vicinity. There are many excellent restaurants in Roeschwoog and the surrounding communes to enjoy traditional Alsatian cuisine, the regional specialty tarte flambée, or star restaurants. There is a grocery store in town. The domain is accessible by public transportation too. TRAIN The train is a 5 minute walk from the house where there are trains to Strasbourg every hour. You can consult the SNCF website or we keep a current schedule at the house. By taxi your are also only 20 minutes from the Baden-Baden train station (incl. high speed train). AIRPORT The house is located in close proximity to the airport in Baden-Baden Germany (20 minutes), Strasbourg France (40 minutes) or Francfort Germany (2 hours). The regional charge for Taxe de Séjour is 0.50€/day/adult. We have included this in the price, since unfortunately at this time, Airbnb is not setup for us to include this in the payment.
