A beautifully converted Barn set in the boundaries of a 300 year old grade II listed farm house in the peaceful rural village of Old South Hykeham. With a wood burner in the open plan lower floor and a mezzanine level overlooking the lounge. There is a well equipped kitchen. The old apple loft serves as the master bedroom with a luxurious king size bed, ensuite toilet and basin, as well as a roll top bath. The bedroom downstairs is a twin room with two single beds and large wet room. There is parking for one car and a dedicated decking area and lawn with BBQ and patio table, chairs and parasol. Free Wifi is available. The Barn is self-catering and a welcome pack is provided, including tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, bread and a home made cake. The barn is suitable for children over 5 years of age, we are happy to accept younger children but we have not childproofed the property. We have a travel cot and highchair also available for use. The barn is accessed with a key code which is emailed to each guest with directions prior to your stay. Therefore check in can be at a time to suit you. We aim to make your stay a truly relaxing experience. We are located within a short drive to the City of Lincoln with its famous Cathedral, Castle, and array of local attractions including the Lincolnshire show ground not to mention the famous display team the Red Arrows. With the Castle exhibition of the Magna Carta. Newark is also only a 10 minute drive with its picturesque town centre and show ground, Swinderby antiques fairs are even closer. There is a bus service into Lincoln every 20 minutes, the bus stop is a 10 -15 minute walk away. The Barn has received over 40 top 5 bubble reviews on Trip Adviser a testament to the quality and location of the accommodation.
