Little Mansion Over The Hilltop

Welcome to your guest suite in the historic Carr Residence! This bright and cozy 4 bedroom suite is on the second floor of one of Prince Albert’s oldest homes. Built in 1912 for famed Arctic explorer George Carr, our historic Mansion Over the Hilltop retains its original charm but has been updated to include all the modern conveniences. Enjoy a fantastic Central Prince Albert location with equally convenient access to all nearby attractions and easy access to Saskatchewan's Lake Country! The Space The kitchenette includes a dining table, a small fridge, hotplate, microwave and coffee maker. We try to have all the basic cookware, flatware and cutlery as well as coffee and tea. There is a 4 piece bathroom and powder room dedicated to your suite with access to a washer and dryer on the main floor. Lounge with a Snack Bar, Spa/ Sauna on the Basement Level. There is a Queen size bed in each of the two bedrooms. For extra guests, the sectional in the Canada room converts to a queen pullout bed, and the Sunroom couch converts into a double bed. Guest access You have access to the entire second floor guest suite, along with access to a lounge with a self serve cash snack bar, jacuzzi tub and sauna room and exercise room in the lower level. The suite is connected to our house via a staircase to the 3rd and main levels of the house. The main level of the home is considered communal space; all guests are welcome to enjoy the heritage of our Little Mansion Over the Hilltop. Most days we are available. Our residence is one block from the historic Diefenbaker House. One block from hwy access to the lake district. Walking distance from Shenanigans Coffee House- an excellent place for dessert and specialty drinks. Only a couple blocks away from a variety of popular restaurants. Only a 5 min drive away from a Cineplex Movie Theatre. Most attractions are only a 5 min drive away. During long weekend/holidays we prefer bookings to be 2 out of the 3 days.
