Little Lodge in the beautiful Sussex Countryside

Little lodge is nestled in the heart of the beautiful West Sussex countryside in a quiet and rural village. Located in close proximity to the South Downs National Park, and a short drive from the Coast, there are plenty of walking & cycling routes for you to enjoy. Whether your looking for a relaxing getaway or wanting to see what Sussex has to offer, there is plenty to do. We are well situated for trips to Brighton, Goodwood, Chichester, Arundel, Petworth, or even London by train. Little Lodge is a new build space split over two floors, fully equipped with a modern and spacious studio room with a king size bed and en-suite bathroom upstairs, and a separate kitchen downstairs with fridge freezer, built in oven, hob, and bifold doors. The accommodation is linked to the main residence, but self contained with private access down a stone path, with a dedicated parking space for one car on the drive in front of the garage. Guests will have access to a separate stone/shingle patio space with table and chairs as seen in the images, overlooking the garden of the main house (note the garden and patio is in the process of being re-turfed/finished). We will welcome up to 1 well behaved dog in the accommodation- but you must advice us if you plan on bringing in advance of your stay (note we have a well behaved young dog that has free roam of the garden and may wish to say hello). Dogs must not be left unattended in the accommodation, and guests are expected to clear up after them outside, and try to keep pets off the furniture. A single space for a car will be provided on our driveway in front of the garage (with cars being able to still access the main house). The closest train station is a 8minute drive away, and for those travelling by train we would advise pre booking taxis to ensure you can get to the accommodation without waiting. The local shop is walkable, and there are lots of beautiful walks around. As the accommodation is self contained with lockbox access, guests can check themselves in between check in time. We live in the main house and are contactable if there are any questions or issues. If you would like to meet and great let us know so we can arrange to be around on your arrival where possible. Always happy to help in anyway. West Chiltington is located between Pulborough to the West and Storrington to the South, West Chiltington lies in the lea of the South Downs. It is a hidden treasure, full of charming cottages, winding lanes and friendly shops and pubs. There are local vineyards, brewery’s and pubs nearby, along with a wide selection of countryside walks right on your doorstep. Driveway available for Parking. Train station is approx 10mins by car with parking available. Plenty of walking and cycling routes in close proximity The Accommodation is suitable for a maximum of 2 x adult guests, as is not suitable for infants or children. Guests will also need to be happy with using stairs, as there are stairs to access the main bedroom/bathroom spaces, along with a few steps to enter the front door. There is no street lighting in the village so when it gets dark it can be more difficult to find the accommodation.
