Attached to the main house but own private entrance & self check-in. Parking on drive. Smart TV, Fridge, Kettle, Tea & Coffee, Milk & Juice are provided. We offer boat trips for an extra fee. Great Train links to Henley, Reading & London. 5 mins to River Thames & Thames Path. The Property is in Lower Shiplake a lovely village 2 miles from Henley Town Centre on a private road . 5 mins off the Thames Path ideal for walkers. Plenty of outdoor space. 5 mins walk to the River Thames & Train Station. We also have a lovely new river boat which sits 8 - which is available to rent during the late spring & summer a lovely way to see the local area. 40 mins by car To Legoland & Lapland UK Garden and Drive on site. You can choose Host or Self Check In both are available. No contact with Owners available at this property. Hosts on site in main house - happy to allow use of any extras required such as washing machine & dryer, BBQ and extra fridge space. You can contact us throughout your stay via our mobiles or just knocking on our door anytime. We offer self check-in or Host check-in - whichever your personal preference is. No contact with owners possible at this property. We aim to please and help make your stay enjoyable. In the Village of Shiplake there is an award winning pub and local shop & butchers all within a 5-7 min walk from our property. It is a very safe friendly village. A large Tesco store is just 5 min drive away. Henley is a beautiful town on the Thames with many restaurants, pubs and things to do. Henley is famous for many events - Henley Rowing Regatta, Henley Music Festival, Rewind 80's Festival & Literary Festival. It is a great location to visit Oxfordshire and Berkshire from as it is situated right on the border of both Home Counties. Windsor and Oxford are easily accessible as day trips from the annexe. We love the area and believe you will too - it is quintessentially British !!! Lower Shiplake has frequent bus & train services to Henley - 2 mins by train, 10 mins by bus. You can walk the Thames Path into Henley - approx 40 mins along the river. Train services also go to London Paddington via Reading or Twyford so an ideal location to reach by public transport. We are 25 mins drive from Windsor and 40 mins from Oxford. Oxford can also be reached via train too. So a great base to visit these famous cities. Entrance is to the side of the main house - There is a step into the property so not suitable for wheelchair access unfortunately. We do have a dog who lives in the main house ( not allowed in the annexe ) but who may roam the garden on occassion do let us know if this is a problem.
