The property is located just 5 minutes from Junction 27 of the M1 in the village of Annesley Woodhouse. It is ideally situated for Sherwood Business Park and being only a 5 or 6 minute walk away, it's perfect for guests on business to drive or leave the car for the day and walk to work. Totally stress-free! You are booking a double room in my home which is tastefully decorated and there are many walks and cycle rides through countryside and woodland. Situated on the edge of the village it is ideally situated for walkers and cyclists and there are many paths to enjoy across fields and woodland. Guests can access all parts of the house and are welcome to watch television in the main sitting room or sit and chat in front of a wood burning stove in the chilly winter months. Equally, for peace and quiet if you don't wish to be disturbed you can feel right at home in the comfort of your own room. For your convenience there is a microwave and cooker available for you to heat up a meal in the evening with full use of crockery, cutlery and glassware available. In the warmer months you are welcome to use the courtyard for dining alfresco or enjoy a glass of wine. The bedroom is equipped with fresh towels and bed linen and there are a toiletries available in the bathroom should you run short or come without. I will be on hand to answer any questions and provide information about the local area. The house is in a pretty semi-rural location and enjoys great walks and cycle tracks across open fields, bridleways and woodland. There is co-op in the village, as well as a post office, an amazing bistro and a village pub. There are many places of interest to explore all within a short distance and can be accessed by foot, cycle or car and includes: Annesley Hall, The family seat of the Charworth Musters, a one time wealthy landowner and squire of the parish. Newstead Abbey, Ancestral home of Lord Byron. Felly Priory, Small family estate with tea room and nursery. Beauvale Priory and superb tearoom. Hardwick Hall. Access to Sherwood Forest and the Derbyshire Peak District are within a 40 minute journey by car, as are the market towns of Newark-on-Trent and Southwell. There are excellent links to Nottingham by bus (40 minutes). The train station, main tram park and ride in Hucknall, is only a 10 minute drive away, which will take you directly into Nottingham City Centre and Nottingham Castle. The nightly rate is £25 per night for one guest and includes a continental breakfast of cereals, yoghurt, croissants, toast and a selection of jam, fruit juice, choice of tea and fresh coffee. Additional guest rate is £12 per night with breakfast. Packed lunches available by arrangement. Laundry facilities can be provided for longer staying guests by arrangement.
