Lovely king sized room in quiet location

A large, comfortable room in a modern barn conversion right on the Chiltern Way and just down the road from Wendover Woods. Perfect for walkers and cyclists, equally suitable for commuters into Aylesbury (20 minutes) or Hemel Hempstead (30 minutes). Tea, breakfast cereals and food heating facilities available on the landing. There is plenty of free, off road parking. This room is in the home where we live. It can sleep 2 in a comfortable king sized bed. We have another comfortable fold out bed for a third guest if required. PLEASE NOTE: The bathroom is DOWNSTAIRS, the bedrooms are UPSTAIRS. There is a small fridge on the landing and a kettle and microwave so you can be reasonably independent. If you need anything else, please ask us so we can help you enjoy your stay to the full. There is a second guest room over the landing. Bathroom and cooking facilities are shared. We are experienced hosts and love Airbnb-ing! We'll do our best to help you make the best of your stay while you discover the delights of this beautiful part of the country too. We have three cats, who love laps to sit on. You are welcome to enjoy the acre of garden we have here. Watch this space for the development of our vegetable garden and wildflower meadows. There is plenty of free, off street parking at the front of our Barn. Entry is through our front door and usually we will be here to meet you. We are happy for you to do your own thing, or hang out with us. We live here with kindness, honesty, integrity and the best compassion for life that we can. Lee Gate Barn sits in an acre of land, set back off the road in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's very quiet apart from the calling of Red Kites, which are plentiful in this area. We are surrounded by fields and woodland. Chesham in just 15 minutes drive down the hill and Aylesbury 20 minutes up the hill. Both have a good variety of shops, banks and eateries. There's the Roald Dhal museum in Great Missenden, Hughenden Manor near High Wycombe and Waddesden Manor and Whipsnade Zoo not far away, so there's no need to be bored. We are also about 15 minutes drive from Wendover Woods and The Gruffalo Trail! The Chiltern Way for walkers and cyclists passes right by our front boundary so there are miles of beautiful tracks to explore. We'll add more as we learn more! This is a great area for cyclists and walkers. Chesham station (end of London Underground metropolitan line 50 minutes to Central London) is 13 minutes drive away and Great Missenden Station (Chiltern Railways 55 mins to London Marylebone) is 10 minutes drive. Our home is very lived in and we have 3 cats.
