Secluded and self-contained, this first floor apartment sits in the quiet village of Zamost, in the mountain region Gorski Kotar known also as the 'Green heart of Croatia'. It is a perfect place for a peaceful holiday away from crowds, suitable for couples of all ages or small families or for more active fishing, hiking or mountain biking in the National Park Risnjak. Located on the first floor with its own private entrance, up a few steps, this one bedroom flat has been recently fully renovated. Guests have a well-equipped kitchen, a sunny dining area and a private balcony overlooking the river. The living room has a small double sofa bed and a cozy wood burning stove for chillier evenings. The bathroom has a shower cubicle. The bedroom has a king size double bed and provides privacy from the rest of the apartment. The flat is accessible up an external flight of steps at the side of the house to a private entrance. There is a private driveway with off road parking and shaded area. A big garden with a barbecue zone, surrounds the house. You can access the river bank from the garden, ideal for fishing, or for a refreshing swim. I'm in a separate house next door, and so can be available for anything you need during your stay. The house is set apart from other houses in the village. The area is ideal for outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, running, rafting, fishing.
