Old Arlesford - self contained loft with a view

Contemporary studio loft in beautiful, rural location but still in walking distance for a latte. Sundial Loft is a self-contained apartment that comfortably accommodates two people. The loft comprises a double bed, shower room and kitchen area. Parking is available right outside. New Alresford is a 15 min, beautiful walk away so the independent shopping and eateries can be accessed easily. Winchester is only 9 miles away. The loft has a beautiful gable end window which has a privacy curtain. You can enjoy being awoken by sunrise and the dawn chorus. If that isn't your thing, we can provide sleep masks. The loft kitchenette has a fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle and single induction hob. You will have all you need to make yourself a cuppa on arrival. Crockery and utensils are provided. There is a very comfortable double bed and a large sofa to relax and enjoy watching the connected smart tv. Fast wifi is turned on. We can put together a locally sourced breakfast basket for £15 which will include a home-baked, organic sourdough loaf. Let us know if you are vege or vegan. You have sole use of the Loft. There is a picnic table behind the loft building you are welcome to use to enjoy the garden. Our house is right next door and we will be available for at least part of the day. Our smiling black lab, Hugo, will be around all the time but indoors when we are not about. Eating: We are very lucky to have some great options for eating out – even our kebab van has a great reputation. Here are some of our favourites that are within walking distance: •The Globe – traditional pub fayre and a fantastic beer garden. •Pizza Express – a UK favourite wher you can get carry out pizza too. •The Horse & Groom (Fullers) – informal, friendly atmosphere serving traditional British food •Pulpo Negro – probably the best tapas place in the area. One of our top recommendations. There is a bar downstairs for cocktails too. •The Bell – intimate, cosy restaurant and bar serving a French/British combo. •Mange2 Deli – friendly local deli with fresh bread and everything else you would expect from a deli. •Caracoli – local coffee and deli lunch place. Walking, Running & Cycling We are surrounded by the most beautiful countryside criss-crossed with bridal paths and public rights of way. We would be happy to recommend routes that we use regularly. If you have bikes you can unload and store them at the side of the house. We have cctv on the drive area but do lock them up. We can advise on walking cycling and running routes - you can even borrow a well used map. If you bring bikes our drive is monitored with CCTV.
