The Stud - in the heart of Bedale High Street

The Stud is a cosy two bedroomed cottage in the heart of the pretty market town of Bedale - fondly known as the gateway to the Dales. No smoking & no pets allowed. N.B. Booking is only available in pairs of Monday and Tuesday OR Wednesday and Thursday OR any combination of Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Christmas and New Year bookings 3 night minimum stay. If you would like a longer stay, then these days can be combined, but please get in touch with any questions. An ideal place for couples, small families or individuals, situated just off the A1 gives easy access for a break in the Dales, The Stud is situated in the heart of the town and has it's own allocated parking spot. This cosy cottage has everything you need for a self catering holiday. The lounge has a wood burning stove to keep you warm on those cold winter evenings. Unique to the property is a well in the lounge which has been restored and is a characterful feature. The cottage has a contemporary interior whilst retaining some of the original features from its historical use as a stable block and later a brew house. There is a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine/ dryer. Wifi is available at the property. The master has a king size bed, drawers and a hanging rail. The second bedroom has a cosy single bed. Bedale has a variety of welcoming pubs, cafes, shops and restaurants - all a short walk from the cottage. Within a few miles are other popular market towns such as Richmond, Masham, Thirsk and Leyburn. The area is perfect for those looking for beautiful walks or simply to drive through the stunning scenery.
