Broadbridge Cottage is a 200-year old, detached, stone-built property set amongst acres of glorious Cotswolds countryside. Located less than 4 miles from Cirencester town centre, the cottage is perfect for those looking for peace and quiet, without being too far from shops, historic pubs, lively bars and restaurants. Annexed off of the main kitchen, the recently renovated space comprises a comfortable private seating area, with large leather sofa and full HD TV, and a spacious double bedroom with private en-suite shower room and toilet. The space is privately accessible via its own external door, so guests can come and go as they please. Outside, around half an acre of garden space, featuring a hammock, table and chairs and a barbecue, is also available to enjoy. Guests can make use of the annexed space, as well as the garden area. The main kitchen area is open to guests to make tea and coffee only, although we do supply tea and coffee facilities in the room. One-half retired, we are a couple that enjoys a quieter life in the Cotswolds, and know the area well. We're more than happy to help with local sights and recommendations, and will do our best to make your stay comfortable, without getting in your way. North Cerney is a quaint village, with a popular pub, serving a range of traditional english dishes, and a church dating back to the 12th Century. As you would expect, in this beautiful part of the country, there are many great local walks and landscapes to be explored. The nearby market town of Cirencester, the largest town in the Cotswold district, is the home the Corinium Museum, known for its extensive Roman collection. If you're coming by train, the nearest station is Kemble. From there, you can take a local bus or taxi to North Cerney. The bus stop is only a five-minute walk from our house, which also has regular services to Cirencester and Cheltenham. If you are driving, you can park on-site - there's room for one or two cars maximum.
