Perfect for total isolation. A completely self-contained, large and modern refurbished annexe on a 300 year-old farm house near Chelmsford. The annexe is modern, spotlessly clean, very large, with fully-fitted kitchen, family bathroom, large ensuite, two large bedrooms, lounge & dinning room. Also a generous and private outside space, games room, ample parking & just 5 mins from the A12. It really is home-from-home, ideal for families, weddings, business and extended stays. Large accommodation! Totally isolated, fully self-contained and totally private. Perfect for wedding groups (please message before booking if you’re a wedding group as special charges might apply). We have beautiful countryside views all-round, a lovely 3 acre plot & beautiful private gardens. The annexe's outlook offers complete privacy and seclusion for our guests. Self-check in available. Guests access our property via our electric gate and shingle driveway, with ample parking for several cars right outside the accommodation. Guests can enjoy a stroll around our 3 acre gardens, use the trampoline, air-hockey, darts and table tennis! We live within 5 minutes of the A12 (junction 18). We have a village pub, church and shops just 5 minutes away in both directions. We respect the privacy of our guests at all times, yet we are always around to help with anything at all during our guests stay at our home. Guests can self-check in if preferred, and can enjoy total independence. We have lived locally all our lives, so can offer plenty of local knowledge. We live on the edge of a beautiful rural village, surrounded by farm land with amazing views. Within the village there is a good family pub serving quality food and a lovely church. A selection of shops exist in the neighbouring village of Danbury, just 5 minutes by car. We have a local garden centre near-by with a brilliant café, serving locally sourced food and drinks. Chelmsford City centre is just 3.5miles away, with an excellent array of shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. The area is popular with both road bike and mountain bike enthusiasts, horse riders and walkers. We are very well located for many Essex wedding and event venues. A local bus route passes our property, with a bus stop just 100 yards away. The Sandon Park & Ride is just 5 minutes away, with regular buses in to Chelmsford City centre every 15 minutes. The A12 is just 4 minutes by car and offers a great connection to neighbouring towns and the motorway network. If you’re a wedding group please contact us prior to booking. We host many wedding groups and offer fantastic facilities to help the occasion be amazing, but sometimes special charges might apply. We always try to accommodate guests requests, so please just get in touch. The accommodation is situated on an old farm; not a working farm anymore, just a nice countryside place to live. We have resident ducks most of the time, frequent visits from deer, rabbits and lots of birds, a lovely dog and some carp in the pond!
