Roadster Studio XJ-S - A/C Private Room - 2 Guests

We have listed our other property as Roadster Colombo - a small city hotel with 16 rooms, elevator and additional amenities. Roadster Studio-XJ-S: We have listed our second room (same location) separately (Roadster Studio-Pagoda). XJ-S has a King-Sized bed/ spring-air mattress, fresh linen, attached toilet (solar hot water shower), basic toiletries, 4G wifi, a/c, tea/ coffee & drinking water. Roadster is walking distance to The Arcade and Race Course (pubs, restaurants, shops, cinemas) etc. Roadster Studio is a purpose built, two bed room outfit, detached from the main house. It is a brand new construction and launched in December 2016. It has its own private entrance and provides complete privacy from the main house. The compound houses several British, French and German classic sports cars manufactured in the 1950s, 60s and 70s. Most of the cars are convertibles, which the guests can view, with descriptions from the host. Guests have 24-hour private access to the Roadster Studio rooms, which are detached from the main house. Guests can access the main compound upon request but will not have access to the main house. The location, although central, is quiet and peaceful, with interconnected residential lanes allowing guests to do an early morning jog around the neighborhood. Our neighbours are embassies, embassy residences, some government ministers and a temple. Uber and Pick me taxis (including tuk tuks) can be ordered to the main entrance of Roadster Studio. The nearest bus stand is within 7 minutes walking distance. With prior arrangement, airport drops can be arranged at USD 25/= for up to 2 guests in a new Toyota sedan. A Toyota sedan with a chauffeur can also be provided on a day-hire basis with prior arrangement. The all inclusive cost (including fuel and chauffeur’s charges) is USD 60/= per day, with a limit of 100kms per day. The two rooms, Pagoda and XJ-S, are listed separately. Each room comes with a King Sized bed, fresh linen, bath towels, an attached toilet with solar powered hot water shower, essential toiletries, 4G wifi, air conditioning and complimentary drinking water. Location: Situated in the heart of Sri Lanka’s prestigious residential area, Colombo 7, Roadster Studio, located in Bullers Lane, is literally walking distance to the Arcade at Independence Square. The Arcade at Independence Square houses a selection of branded stores, a wide array or restaurants including Burger King, pubs, cafes and two luxury movie theatres. The location is walking distance to the Independence Square which has a jogging track, a cycling track and a park. Through Independence Square, you can also have easy pedestrian access to the Race Course, which houses more shops and restaurants, including Mc Donald’s and KFC. Super markets, pharmacies and fitness centres are all walking distance from the Roadster Studio. Roadster Studio is also 10 minutes by taxi to the National Museum, Odel Shopping mall, and about 15 minutes by taxi to the Gangaramaya Temple and Crescat Boulevard. Tea and coffee is available in the room and will be refilled on a daily basis. Drinking water is also provided free of charge. A light, international breakfast can be provided at USD 4/= per head, provided the guests inform the house keeper before 9.00 pm the night before.
