Light, bright outhouse conversion with private dog proof garden, private entrance and dedicated off street parking. Ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area. This accommodation is in a rural residential area ideal for peace and quiet. Gas central heating and hot water on demand, you can explore the area safe in the knowledge that there is a good hot shower waiting for you on your return. There are miles of local walks to explore. Access is via a lock box located on the front of the building next to the front door. Access code will be given once you booking has been received. You are free to come and go as you wish - no time exclusions. We will always be on the end of the phone, text, email or most likely at home in the Millhouse should you need us. Happy to socialise if you would like to know a bit more about the area face to face - just ask or knock on our door! Happy to help you enjoy the best of the local area. Your guide to the property and local area is waiting for you when you arrive, but should you need anything else, just ask. We are a short walk away from the Royal Hospital School, Alton Water and several good pubs! We are also 5 minutes walk from the river Stour which offers some amazing hidden beaches. Ipswich is 7 minutes by car and Felixstowe is 15 minutes by car. Alton Water is a good 8 mile round trip and there are many walking routes across Shotley peninsular. We have a detailed map in the Lodge and some walking ideas for when you arrive. Holbrook is between Ipswich and Manningtree and a local bus route connects the two almost hourly. As we are quite rural, there is no mobile phone signal yet - a mast has been built and we are waiting for it to be turned on - however wifi calling works most of the time! Please be considerate when outside of your immediate neighbours.
