'Boardwalk' Apt, at the Purple Sage, on the river

The Purple Sage building, in downtown Winthrop, is located next to Winthrop's new riverfront park, and backs up to the confluence of the Methow, and Chewuch rivers. There are two complete apartment suites, each with full kitchens, and both oriented to the river, and facing southwest. The Boardwalk apartment is a near-ground-floor one-bedroom suite. Recently remodeled, and full of charm... Park Place, is located on the second floor with a deck that overlooks the park and river. This artistic and comfortable one-bedroom apartment is located in downtown Winthrop on the riverside, next to the new Riverfront Park, with great light and rever views. Easy access to parking and two steps above ground level, it is easy and convenient, There is a queen bedroom; an artistic living space with full kitchen, tile shower, pull chain toilet (when did you last see one of these?) and a Heartland stove in the kitchen.. **Directions and lockbox code are available in the 1)Guest Resources Check In Instructions and the 2)House Manual which is available after your booking is confirmed. As a courtesy we send out the directions as well but, if for some reason you don't receive them, it is your responsibility to let us know the day BEFORE your reservation either by airbnb message, text or phone call and to access them in either of the 2 places listed above. ************************************************** Okanogan County has permitted the opening of legal, licensed nightly/extended stay, professionally cleaned rentals. We only rent legal, Okanogan County health department licensed, professionally cleaned properties. Visitors should join locals and wear masks in public, practice social distancing, and enhanced hand washing protocol. We ask that you bring masks, disinfectant hand wipes, Purell, and/or gloves and keep them in your car for use when out and about. We have very limited supplies in our stores for you to purchase should you need any of the above. It is vitally important for you leave before 11 AM, so the cleaner can get in and do a thorough job for the next guests. There will be no late checkouts permitted. The best source for "what is happening" here in the Methow Valley is our local weekly paper, which comes out on Wednesdays, and has a comprehensive calendar listing of events. It is the Methow Valley News and (URL HIDDEN) In Winthrop, the Old Schoolhouse Brewery (only a block or so) has live music Friday and Saturday nights with no cover charge. The Purple Sage Building is next door to the new park in downtown Winthrop. You can park in the rear of the building. You will not check-in at an office, nor will you be met by someone. You must have these directions and access code in order to enter the apartment. PLEASE NOTE: **We strive to provide the best internet service we can get here in the very rural Methow Valley. Internet speeds vary throughout the valley and so therefore WE DO NOT guarantee that our internet speed will meet the needs of your work or school needs. Should you have an issue with internet service, please send us a message through the Airbnb system describing the problem. We will then contact you to troubleshoot. If the issue is not resolved, we will then contact the internet provider and they will take it from there. Please note... our valley is very rural and getting service personnel to fix things in a timely manner that you may be used to is a challenge. Your patience is required! We rent lodging, not office space. You may also access the Winthrop library's enhanced internet speed(parking lot or inside the library) or pay a fee and go to the Dropzone in downtown Winthrop. Thank you for your understanding and enjoy your stay!** **Should you travel to the Methow during the winter months it is important to understand that you must be prepared for winter driving(keep chains, (Website hidden by Airbnb) the car). If it snows while here you will have to wait for plow service just like every other person in the valley. There are a limited number of plow companies and we can not make them show up any faster than they are able. They have many different contracts and many miles of roads, (Website hidden by Airbnb) plow. If a plow person or a snow shoveler shows up to clear any area around the house, please do not argue with them or turn them away. Move your vehicles if asked. Your cooperation and patience are required especially after any significant snow accumulation.
