Thresholds Guest Suite in Bluemont.

Thresholds is a historic guest suite in the heart of Bluemont. A charming village close to wineries, breweries, the Appalachian Trail, and the Shenandoah River. We are very close to historic Harper's Ferry. The wineries and breweries are all OPEN and many have live music events. We are also very close to B-Chord Brewery. Our bedrooms are warm and comfortable. Our little coffee room is fully stocked with coffee, tea and various soft drinks. There is a cube refrigerator to keep things cold. Guest suite includes two beautiful connecting bedrooms each with queen beds and a private full bath. The adjacent sitting room is the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee or tea. After an afternoon of sightseeing, enjoy a beverage in our beautiful and historic dining room in front of the fireplace. Bluemont is a beautiful historic village. Across the street there is a charming general store that has a little bit of everything. You can also get a hot breakfast sandwich in the morning. There are many historic sites within walking distance of Thresholds. Guests will be able to access the front porch, the formal dining room, and the first floor powder room for their comfort. This past year we brought our gazebo back to life. When the weather is nice it is a great place to chill. Our back yard is a great pace to play corn hole . The dogs love to play ball or just hang out. Parking is easy, right in front of the house. There is an unlocked garden gate for entrance to the front porch. We will be available when you arrive to help you settle in and answer any questions that should arise. The guest suite is directly across from the Bluemont General Store and walking distance to E.E. Lake Store, which will serve as an information center for the community and a Farmers Market during the Summer. Plenty of eating options close-by. The town has a lot of charm and is very historic. For instance there is the Snickersville Academy, which used to be the only school house in the area. It was also a home at one time. The Academy has been restored to the schoolhouse days and is maintained by the Citizens of Bluemont. We have plenty of parking for up to three vehicles. We don’t have public transportation in Bluemont. Uber is available in our area. Our other hosts include two friendly dogs, Bella and Dash. We also have a sweet cat, Sabrina. Sabrina may come to visit you in the sitting room. Bella and Dash will not have any access to your space but will be available for petting and play. Please let us know if you have any pet allergies and we will make sure the pets are contained.
