Travellers Rest Hotel is not operating as a licensed premises, so it is private and cosy. The guest area upstairs is studio style with an open plan main King bedroom, a side private bedroom with a Queen bed, and a side room with a Double/single bunk bed separated with a draw curtain. The studio area has its own ensuite/toilet, with a separate toilet & vanity. Downstairs is a King room with ensuite and a King single side room & extra toilets. There is also a King sofa bed in the lounge area. A unique 167 year old hotel that has been renovated to accommodate families and groups. Upstairs is more an open plan studio style, with downstairs having a separate room and ensuite. Inside still bosts of its Hotel Heritage and there is a pool table and dart board for guests to use while sitting around the old bar relaxing and chatting. Guests have access to the complete property. If staying more than one night the kitchen facilities are also available for families or groups to utilise. Feel free to enjoy the relaxing areas of the old hotel, and also feel free to come and join us to chat about the area and provide any information that will help you on your holiday. Travellers Rest is situated on the main highway between Richmond and the Abel Tasman. Guests would need to have their own transport to navigate around the district. There is a Dairy located next door that sells selected grocery and dairy items as well as hot fast food.
