Rose Cottage is situated in the beautiful village of Tincleton set in rural Hardye countryside, just 15 minutes from the Jurassic coastline in picturesque Dorset. Rose Cottage has a wonderful homely charm with beautiful beams, inglenook fireplace, flagstone floors, beautiful furnishings, comfortable beds with vi-spring mattresses, so you will never want to leave!! The kitchen has a new Everhot oven, fridge/freezer. Utility with washing machine and tumble dryer and microwave. Delightful country walks on the doorstep with the lake just a moments walk away which takes you through to the meadows and the River Frome beyond where wildlife is abundant. Fishing available on the River Frome Nature Trail Set on a farm with 600 acres of private meadows, woodland and riverside walks abundant with wildlife. Access is via a private drive to Eweleaze Farm. Ample parking on the gravel area in front of the lake. The lake is just a minute's walk and from there walks can be taken all around the farm via the Nature Trail - located on 600 acres of private farmland with an abundance of wildlife. The Cottage is totally private but we also live on site, so if anything is required, we can be available. On the day of arrival, I visit the Guests to make sure that they have settled in and found everything they need and answer any questions that they may have. The Neighbourhood is quiet and tranquil with private, idyllic walks on the doorstep abundant with wildlife. However, within 10 - 15 minutes drive there are lovely country pubs, Athelhampton House and Gardens, beautiful beaches, the County Town of Dorchester, Weymouth, Kingston Maurward Animal Park, Poole Park, Farmer Palmers, Bovington Tank Museum, the Dinosaur Museum, Tutankhamum Museum, MonkeyWorld, Durdle Door and Jurassic Coastline to name but a few! Public transport can be arranged but in order to visit many of the local attractions and places of interest, it is advised to have a car. Rose Cottage is a characteristic cottage which has been beautifully restored, still retaining stunning features such as the inglenook fireplace, original beams, flagstone floor etc. It has a wonderful home from home feel and has been beautifully furnished with vi-spring mattresses, luxurious sofas, a bespoke kitchen to make Guests stay as comfortable as possible.
