Mountain Rest, Rolling Hills, Little Prairie

Located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Come stay at our little cottage on the prairie with rolling hills, a fresh garden to pick from and a five minute jaunt to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We are located about 5 minutes from the quaint town of Spruce Pine, 20 minutes to Linville Gorge and Crabtree Falls, 40 minutes to the Roan Highlands, There is also numerous hiking/mountain biking/kayaking opportunities for those interested. Come join us for us a misty mountain morning and epic views! We are located on the property. The guesthouse is separate from our home if any issues arise. This is a self check-in process. The Guesthouse is also slightly downhill and we are working on putting in a pavers/steps but at this time those with mobility issues may seek accommodation elsewhere. In regards to parking, you will have access to one gravel parking pad, if you need more parking space please reach out to us directly and we will do our best to accommodate. Absolutely NO smoking on or near the property. We do also have two very cute, well-behaved labs that live on the property that will accept any loving if interested. We do have a washer/dryer close by in our basement if needed, please feel free to ask We are both Nurses that work full-time, but in our free time enjoy spending it here at our home. We will be readily available by text and will be as responsive as possible if issues arise. Our neighborhood is a very well-established community of landowners that take pride in living in this beautiful corner of NC. A short drive to the center of town will bring you to couple of coffee shops, antique stores and various other charming businesses.
