The property is fairly new complex where there is 24 hours security and a watchman at the gate (and alarm system). It is situated in the north of the paradise island of Mauritius, near the fishing village of Grand Gaube in Calodyne’s Bay. The place is very quiet and relaxing and 2 minutes walk to the nearest beach ("Butte à l'herbe beach" at 150m from the house with white sand), 1km to Calodyne cute Beach and 5km to the most famous beaches in Peyrebere (bus stop at 50meters and possibility to book cheap taxis). You have all the amenities nearby (2km) : hairdresser, florist, shops, pharmacy, restaurants, hotels, bars, bus stops, football play ground, police station, mini market and church, and a little supermarket at 500m. It is a short ride about 15 minutes by car or bus to Grand Baie where there is the main tourists attractions and night life. Half an hour drive you will be in Port-Louis. The apartment can accommodates 6 persons as it is over 2 floors. On the ground floor there is the kitchen dinner, lounge and a beautifull terrace with exterior furniture (+ a bathroom). On the first floor there is 3 bed rooms and 2 bathroom and toilet with a very spacious terrace. All the bed rooms are equipped with aircon. All furniture are from Bali, India, etc... Very nice and peaceful place to chill-out. Possibility to hire with extra fees maid and cooker in order to be completely relax. The local bus connection is at 5 min walk. On the main road there are buses going to Grand Baie, Cap Malheureux and Port Louis. Your holidays in the sun will be a very memorable one. Things to do in Grand Gaube: visit to Iles aux Gabriel, Pointe Bernache, diving experience, kite surfing, sky diving and Island wings- ride by helicopter to view the island from the sky. All these activities are available within 15 minutes from home: Cruise sailing, water skiing, parasailing, glass bottom boats, Windsurfing, Kitesurfing, Surfing, Deep Sea Fishing, Snorkeling, Walking in diving, Submarine. Sports are also available from Grand Bay or closer to Calodyne (Golf, Running, Tennis, Squash, ULM) Museums are also within driving distance (The Adventure of sugar, The Textile Museum, The Museum Robert Edward Hart, Souillac, Blue Penny Museum, Frederik Hendrik Museum, art galleries, Le Moulin Broken) Beautiful walks to be performed on the whole island (The National Black River, Tamarin Falls, Plaine Champagne in Bel Ombre) and accessible mountains (Thumb (812 m), the Pieter Both (823 m), Mountain Lion (480 m), the Morne) Piscine, jardins, terrain de tenis, baie de Calodyne, climatisation, decoration moderne.
