Felicia's Guest and Meeting House

Beautiful country guest house, built in 1875 and situated atop 11 pastoral acres. Charmingly decorated in whites and creams, the atmosphere is serene, yet fresh and bright. A nod to the past, with a contemporary kick in the pants. This charming home has been in our family for generations, and has many stories to tell. There is no better view in Knox County than the one from the kitchen window, overlooking acres of rolling hills, fields and trees. I hope you enjoy the serenity of this place, just 3 miles from the center of town but an eternity in time and space. Because we are at the end of a country road, you will not hear traffic or noise–only the sounds of nature unfolding around you. Over the years, the wildlife has found refuge here, and has grown to include an incredible variety of creatures–red-tail hawk, osprey, deer, rabbits, fox, to name a few. If you watch quietly and wait patiently, you are sure to see a few! Other than big Kenyon College weekends (Commencement, Family Weekend, Alumni Weekend, Orientation, etc.) and holidays, you will have the house to yourselves, and it is priced according to the number of guests staying/bedrooms used (menu will automatically figure double occupancy each room, so price will need to be adjusted for single occupancy per room. See below.) Maximum guests per bedroom is 2, and ALL GUESTS MUST BE ENTERED PER BEDROOM USED IN "NUMBER OF GUESTS" WHEN BOOKING ONLINE. If you would like the single occupancy per room price, please add additional guests to equal that number of rooms. (ie, if you have 2 guests staying, but would like 2 bedrooms rather than 1, insert "3 guests" in menu, etc. A bit confusing I know, so please message me to confirm number of guests/bedrooms and rate). Guests must use only their chosen bedroom for duration of stay, and all other bedrooms in house will be off-limits. Unless permission is given, ONLY PAID, REGISTERED GUESTS PERMITTED ON PREMISES, PLEASE. The house sits on 11 acres of land with a hilltop view of all original 60 acres. I love to meet folks from far and wide, but also understand your time is precious, and I truly want you to enjoy each and every minute at Felicia's. So for the most part, we'll email or text, but I'm just a phone call away in case of emergency. Quiet, paved country road winds for a mile with pastures and animals along the way. Perfect for morning strolls with a cup of hot coffee–or vigorous run! We are close to Mount Vernon where there are numerous antique shops and a farmer's market on Saturdays from 9–noon. Kenyon College is nearby, as is the Kokosing Gap Trail, Snow Trails ski area and Amish country. Felicia's is also a wonderful place for small meetings, seminars, retreats and photo shoots, PRICED BY THE HOUR. Contact me for additional information.
