La Chambre Bleue is one of 3 great rooms with views on top floor which has 2 baths. Please note that it is not just one room. The top floor (see photos) has 3 private bedrooms each with a CA king size bed, and a limited access art room. Chateau St George is a custom designed French Style Chateau with a vineyard and amazing views. Chateau St. George will prove to be a destination on its own. The main Guest Room is 'La Chambre Bleue', a Top Floor Suite, with a balcony with stunning views. The en Suite bathroom is right next to it and will be used only by the guests. The red room 'La Chambre Rouge' is the second room close to Chambre Bleue; The third room is the tower suite with its own bathroom. It is decorated with black and white French art. The top floor accommodates parties of 6 in those three different rooms each with a California King Size bed. All the above rooms have great views to the surrounding hills. There are two additional rooms upstairs, one is an art room a another spare bedroom, but their access is limited. Chateau St George is located in the heart of California. It provides easy access to the Sierra Foothills & Gold Country for wine tasting, and to Yosemite National Park, and to Dodge Ridge Ski resort. Many golf courses are within half an hour that include: Mountain Spring Gold Course, Phoenix Lake Golf Course, Greenhorn Creek Golf Course in Angels Camp, and best of all the NCGA course Saddle Creek in Copperopolis. Many guests upon seeing the views of the Sonora basin, with rolling hills, vineyards, golf course, immediately compare it to Tuscany. Music is available throughout the house for a true enjoyable experience for all the senses, inside and outside. The host will play the guests favorite music if requested to compliment the feast for the eyes of the amazing views from the property. I will only host one airbnb guest group at a time, even though there are multiple rooms. The rare exception is if I am hosting also some of my own friends. Guests will have 'La Chambre Bleue' for the first two people, including the porch as a private setting, and an en suite adjacent bathroom; each additional two guests will be granted another bedroom on the top floor; the larger parties will have the 3rd room and the home theater room. All guests will have courteous access to the porches and walkways around the Chateau. There are two living room areas, one with a pool table and a Stand-up piano! So bring your piano music books if you like to play. Sunset dining with the host can be provided Fri-Sun nights provided the guests cover the cost; special pairings with wine can be arranged. There are 5 dining areas believe it or not! Dining under the turret with or without the host is made accessible, as well as dining in the breakfast nook or dining room on the main floor. For the other two dining areas, you will need to reserve and discover! you won't be disappointed. Full access to the kitchen access is granted but will be shared with the hosts who live full time on the main floor; a fruit bowl and bagels, or croissants or home made pear tart, or banana bread will be made available each morning. The hosts kindly ask that that all foods can be cooked in the kitchen with the exception of Lamb. There are three refrigerators one on each floor for your convenience. The kitchen has a double convection wolfe oven and a gas wolfe stove; a warming drawer; a toaster and a uWave oven. Free Internet; Multiple TVs and stereo systems are available throughout the house. I have waived the cleaning fee to reduce your cost, so keeping things clean would be very appreciated. The host George loves having guests and speaks three languages including French. Music is available through the home inside and outside. Some wines are available for 'cash purchase only' from the owners' private cellar. Although dinner is not included the hosts may chose to share dinners on occasions; the host specializes in French and Mediterranean Cuisine and pairing that with Wine. Guests will be kindly asked to cover the cost with cash. Various Napa & Bordeaux wines in addition to Chateau St. George Petite Syrah, the owner's own wine, are selectively available at market (not marked up) cost. The ambiance is accented with candles from WoodsCreekCandle highly scented candles to ensure a completely romantic getaway The neighborhood is all custom homes on 4-7 acre parcels; it is in the country side, but is only 2 miles from hwy 108 with easy access to shopping and touring.
