Attic in the middle of Scherpenzeel, in the Gelderland Valley between the Utrecht Hill Ridge and the Veluwe woods and moorlands, and the river regions of Eem and Betuwe with its orchards: lovely hiking and biking. 2 rooms on the top floor (3 beds), with sink, fridge, microwave and coffeemaker Kitchen, toilet ground floor, bathroom first floor (shower, bath, toilet), washing machine, (fruit)garden, bbq, bike storage in garage. Up to the wishes of the visitors. Respect for each other's privacy whenever we choose. 2 supermarkets, several restaurants and take-aways, hiking and biking trails, tourist information, swimming pool (open air), canoe rent Busses to/from Amersfoort and Veenendaal (railwaystations). Free parking. Bicycles available. This is a beautiful house built in 1943, so (materialistic?) people who like the comfort of a modern hotel, or people with a dust allergy or phobia should not come here. This is for (social) budget travelers like me who like (romantic?) simplicity, older architecture and the beautiful countryside.
