The Bunkhouse

The Bunkhouse is located in a very quiet wooded neighborhood. Centrally located just minutes from Hwy 50, with easy access to wine tasting, hiking, biking, snow skiing, fishing, whitewater rafting or kayaking . Discover more than 100 extraordinary wineries nestled in El Dorado or near by Amador county. Full kitchen with refrigerator/ice maker, electric stove and oven, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, mixer, blender, pots and pans, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Smart TV with internet connection. Internet is test at 27mbs and requires password. We have a Verizon booster with excellent cell phone coverage. We have excellent water right out of the tap. Separate bedroom with a queen bed. We only use the lower beds on bunk beds for guests. The bunk house is located on a 5 acre certified small farm. We have apples, pears, mandarin oranges, olives, raspberries and a large garden. Access is currently limited to patio entrance of the bunk house I work out of my house so I am usually close by. Located in a very quiet neighborhood with hills and trees. Great place for a morning or evening walk around the 1 mile loop. Close by restaurants include; Breakroom in Shingle Springs known for their fabulous burgers, Poor RED'S in city of El Dorado known for Ribs, Train Station Coffee Shop Shingle Springs known for manly breakfast. Annabelle's Chocolate Lounge El Dorado chocolate and wine, Papa Gianni's Ristorante Cameron Park great Italian food. Although we have been asked about Uber or Lyft they are a very expensive option. Our recommendation would be rent a car at airport ahead of time. We have a small German shepherd (rescue) that isn't used to people on her property. She may bark at you but you have your own private entrance.
